Education And Development Resources for RCHT ED
At the Royal Cornwall Emergency Department, we pride ourselves on looking after our team and ensuring your ongoing professional development. Whether you are here for a 4-month rotation or a long-term ACP, MG, of CF post.
🚀Maximising Your Clinical Time
Don't wait until the end of your rotation to think about your portfolio!
Work-Based Assessments: Please proactively approach consultants and seniors on shift for WBAs.
ESLEs: We encourage all senior grades to undertake regular ESLEs.
Expert Advice: If you are unsure how to arrange these, speak to the Shop Floor Lead Consultant or your Educational Supervisor.
Clinical Reflection: We encourage you to note down interesting hospital numbers (keeping IG in mind). Review their discharge summaries and reflect on their ongoing management—this is the best way to see the "full picture" of emergency care.
To find patients you are responsible for on Oceano: REF reports selector: responsible healthcare activity: show report: enter arrival start and end date: enter username of person.
