Wellbeing In The Emergency Department

Working in the emergency department is challenging. Daily we are expected to be superhuman and to work in a crowded and high intensity department.  Yet we are human, and things happen, and we too need help with the challenges that life brings us.

Know you are not alone when these dark or low times come. We are an ED family, who also have highs and lows so we understand.  Approach a trusted friend, colleague or line manager to help work through some of the resources to get the best support possible.

You need to look after yourself to be able to look after others.

Please use the buttons to explore the resources or scroll down for support groups for nurses, healthcare worker and doctors.
